Halloween 2005

In La Grange, Halloween was quite the big deal! That year Addison was a Care Bear and Jenna was a fairy princess. Rob and I went to a Halloween party given by Addison's preschool teacher. Rob and I were adults dressed up like kids-therefore we were "chunky kids". We had to buy "husky" costumes. We laughed so hard! I was about 4 months pregnant with Taesun, so I looked extra funny. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of me.

Reddi Whip

Whenever we have dessert like Strawberry Shortcake or sundaes, we tend to buy Reddi-Whip. Rob absolutely LOVES it and showed the girls how to properly use it. "Tilt head back, shake can, and open wide..."

Pumpkin

This was not a brilliant idea from the Ro Family. If I haven't told you yet, we are suckers for puppies. We already have a great family dog named Boo. She came to our family when Jenna was born. When Jenna was about 2 years old, we decided to look at puppies. We ended up with an addition to our family named Pumpkin. She was a total cutie, but riled up Boo so much that we ended up giving her to our good friends, The Stanfords. Now, when we visit the Stanford's, we get to see our old puppy! Stay tuned for future developments on dogs. (We end up making the same mistake twice!!)

Soccer practice with Coach Rob

Addison started soccer when she was 3 yrs old in Oldham County. She played for the YMCA and had a blast. She was pretty good too. Rob decided that all his years of playing soccer would pay off better if he were the coach, so he did! Coach Rob had lots of fun and so did the kids. I loved bringing the Jenna to soccer and watching the games. Hopefully we'll get back into soccer this year. The girls, (or at least Addison) really miss it!!

Oldies but goodies...

My girls love to dress up. I've always let my girls dress themselves as long as we are not going somewhere special. They are so cute and I believe that gave them some well needed independence. The last picture was of Addison in preschool. They dressed up as clowns. I loved Once Upon A Preschool in La Grange, KY. Our friend, Miss Christine ran the preschool out of her basement. Lots of church members took their kids there although there were a few neighbors as well. Preschool really helped out Addison with her boredom. She has always been very smart at an early age, so she would get bored easily at home with me and her sister.

This is my momma. Kind of a crazy picture, but nevertheless... People say we are alot alike. I am proud to be like my mom. She is my best friend second to Rob. I am lucky to have such a great relationship with my parents. I know not everyone does. I talk to my mom about everything. One of my favorite memories of us together was last year when we took a road trip to Nashville, TN. We had a girls' weekend and never laughed so hard before. We also cried together listening to sad country music and watching Kelly Pickler sing for the very first time at The Grand Ole Opry. What a blast! I'd go again in a heartbeat, but the truth is, I think we'd have fun wherever we would go.

These are pictures of our two Dad's. They are such great men. They both care about us immensely and love to visit. We live closer to my dad(the bottom picture) and so we see him the most. It's always nice to have Sunday dinners together as a family. We wish the Ro family (my in-laws) would move closer to us so we can see them more often.

2005 Addison and Jenna

Here are the girls, Addison and Jenna, in 2005. Addison was 3 1/2 and Jenna was 2. I forget how cute and sweet they were... those times were difficult with the two of them being only 18 mos apart. Looking back, I really wish I would have savored those times instead of wishing for them to grow up. Take a lesson from me- they DO grow up fast.

Family Photos

Here are some of our family's photos throughout the years. I will try to update new photos soon. (We need to take some first...) Busy lives with both parents working and three little kiddos around to take care of! Hope you enjoy watching our family grow as I post an outline of the kids growing up until now.

A work in progress...

So, here we are- finally beginning our family blog. I decided that it would be great to start this family blog so that family members that do not live close can see what's going on with "The Ro Show!"

There will be more to come. I am so happy that technology has come so far. This is a great tool and I highly recommend it to anyone who is reading this. If I can create a blog, so can you! I don't feel that I am highly proficient when it comes to technology, but I did it! Now it's time to find all those pictures from the past...

Stay tuned for "The Ro Show!"
